Let me introduce myself. My name is St.Masita Nur Khalifah. I’am a student in Business English Communication at Universitas Negeri Makassar.

Today in IIEC Listening course we learned about Office and Presentation Equipment Vocabulary, Structuring a Presentation, Developing an Argument, Pitching a Product, and Talking about Facts and Figures.

1. Office and Presentation Equipment Vocabulary

In this sub-material we learn about vocabulary in the field of Office and Presentation Equipment Vocabulary.

2. Structuring a Presentation

When you are presenting to an audience, it is important to structure your talk in a way that is clear and easy to understand. Certain sets of phrases can help you do this.

3. Developing an Argument

When you are giving a presentation, there are several key phrases you can use to develop your argument and make your audience aware of what is coming.

4. Pitching a Product

When describing a product to a potential client, it is useful to compare the product using comparative and superlative adjectives.

5. Talking about Facts and Figures

When you are making a presentation or writing a report, it is important to describe changes and trends in precise language that sounds natural.


In this activity, I really haven't been able to overcome my shortcomings in answering False, True & Not given questions, for some reason it's very difficult for me to distinguish between False and Not given, and because of this I often get red marks in each activity.
