Strategy : Listen for Two-Three Part Verbs

Let me introduce myself. My name is St.Masita Nur Khalifah. I’am a student in Business English Communication at Universitas Negeri Makassar.

Today we study Listening 4 Academic Purpose as usual. Today we learned about strategies in Listening, namely Listen for Two-Three Part Verbs.

1. Two- Three Part Verbs are phrases that combine a verb (Verb) with one or two particles (Particle) in the form of information.

3. Break up

4. Calm down

5. Deal with

6. End up

7. Find out

8. Blow up

9.Turn down

10. Wake up
