English Test

Let me introduce myself. My name is St.Masita Nur Khalifah. I’am a student in Business English Communication at Universitas Negeri Makassar.

Today is the second meeting for the Listening 4 Academic Purpose course. In today's Listening class we were given information about tests to test our English skills both from listening, writing, reading and speaking.

 As for some examples of tests that are often used in testing English language skills are:

 1. TOEIC

TOEIC stands for Test of English for International Communication. Toeic is an English language test for international communication. 

2. TOEFL 

TOEFL stands for Test of English as a Foreign Language, this test is an English exam for academics.

 3. IELTS 

The International English Language Testing System (IELTS) is the world's most popular international English language test system for study, work and immigration purposes. This test tests four skills namely listening, writing, reading and speaking.
