Review Exercises TOEFL

Let me introduce myself. My name is St.Masita Nur Khalifah. I’am a student in Business English Communication at Universitas Negeri Makassar.

Today we study Listening 4 Academic Purpose as usual.Today our activity is to do a quiz, namely Review Exercise TOEFL. This quiz consists of several sections, namely:

1. Focus on the Last Line

2. Avoid Similar Sounds

3. Answer With Synonyms

4. Draw Conclusion : What, Who, Where

5. Negative Expressions

6. Double Negative Expressions

7. Almost Negative

 

Actually, in Skill: Focus on the Last Line, I didn't experience any difficulties as well when answering questions regarding the Avoid Similar Sound skill. However, in the Draw Conclusion skill I often get low marks for this skill. To be honest, I had difficulty when answering questions on this skill. Apart from the Draw Conclusion skill, I also had difficulty answering questions for the Almost Negative skill. In fact, I never got a value of 5 for this skill. I was really having a hard time and had to ask my friend for help to help explain more about this skill and finally I started to understand.
