Hi! I’m St. Masita Nur Khalifah, a Business English Communication student, batch 2022. In my English for Journalism class, we’ve been focusing on developing speaking skills for delivering the news. By the end of this unit, I’ll be writing a script for a news report.

Broadcasting news requires clear, confident delivery. Journalists must practice enunciating words, controlling their tone, and maintaining the right pace to keep listeners engaged. A good script is essential, as it guides the flow of the report and ensures all key points are covered concisely.

This unit is helping me refine my speaking skills to deliver news effectively and professionally, a crucial part of journalism that requires both preparation and presentation.
