St. Masita Nur Khalifah

Hi! I’m St. Masita Nur Khalifah, a Business English Communication student, batch 2022. Recently, my group and I conducted a mini research project, visiting media outlets like iNews, BeritaKota, and Herald.id, to explore the English language challenges faced by journalists. During our research, we interviewed journalists to understand the difficulties they encounter while working with English, especially in writing and reporting. It was an insightful experience, as I had the opportunity to learn about the real-life challenges that professionals in the media industry face when it comes to language use. I really enjoyed this research activity because it not only deepened my understanding of the role of language in journalism but also gave me valuable hands-on experience in conducting research. It was a great way to enhance my skills and broaden my perspective on the field of journalism.
